We are looking to add some client photos to our website so if you would like your business to be featured, please send through your images to admin@brownglass.co.nz.
Going forward, we will issue separate invoices for different types of work, rather than combining all work completed during the month onto a single invoice. This applies to services such as: • Annual accounting work • Business advisory • Tax forecasts • Dividend preparation • Other ad hoc work, including client training and queries Our bookkeeping services (payroll, GST preparation, RWT filing, and monthly bill payments) will continue to be consolidated on to a single monthly invoice. Invoice timing is unchanged – invoices are issued during the first week of each month and remain due for payment on the 20th. Prior to the due date, you’ll receive an Activity Statement summarising the total amount due for that month. The statement also includes links to each invoice, making it easy to access a copy if required. If any invoices remain unpaid after the due date, you’ll receive an Overdue Statement showing your outstanding balance as a reminder. If you have any questions about these changes or your invoices in general, please don’t hesitate to contact Kate Ward-Smith or Nicola French in our office.

From 1 April this year we will be introducing a new electronic questionnaire to streamline the collection of your year-end information. Each client will receive a tailored online questionnaire, designed to capture the information and documents required to prepare your financial statements and income tax returns. Only once the completed questionnaire and supporting documents are provided will our team begin preparing your accounts. This new process aims to reduce follow-up emails, improve accuracy, and allow us to complete your work more efficiently during our busy periods. Please see our website here for a list of FAQs regarding this new system.
